I may actually be planning to use this journal, perhaps as a fannish addition to my LJ (if nothing else it should motivate me to make more fannish posts!), or perhaps for cross-posting.
I don't intend to leave LiveJournal and won't unless my journal gets suspended. But I am a big believer in decentralization and would like to support fannish efforts wherever I may find them.
As for who I am, I'm an American living in Scotland, and have been a fangirl since Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. There's just something about Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor on a screen together that is utterly irresistible. I write and read mostly slash, but also enjoy some het pairings, and do like the occasional gen story once in a while.
Current fandom of choice seems to be Doctor Who/Torchwood, where I like reading stories about just every pairing you could think of.
I welcome new friends if we have interests in common and will definitely friend back.
